Annual Communication and Investiture of the District Grand Lodge of Bombay - September 2024

On 27th September 2024, young Masons, who are members of the Friendship & Harmony Lodge No. 1270 demonstrated the 1st Degree working to showcase how Lodges can conduct the ritual working with more than 2 candidates. This was in line with the guidance provided by the United Grand Lodge of England. The flawless performance was well received and appreciated by all who attended.

On the morning of 28th September 2024, the District Grand Master had an open session with ruling Masters, Secretaries from Lodges and Principals & Scribe E of Chapters to discuss challenges and issues faced by Lodges / Chapters and also provide overview on various aspects from the District’s perspectives. This session was very meaningful and well received by all who attended.

The Annual Communication and Investiture meeting was held in the evening of 28th September 2024 at Freemasons Hall, Mumbai. With over 115 Brethren in attendance with visitations from District Grand Lodge of India, Scottish Constitution, Provincial Grand Lodge of Ireland in India and from our very own constitution – District Grand Lodge of Madras and District Grand Lodge of Eastern Archipelago.

RWBro. Percy Driver, District Grand Master for the District Grand Lodge of Bombay opened the District Grand Lodge along with the Deputy and Assistant District Grand Masters and other District officers.

After completing the administrative items on the agenda, newly appointed officers were invested and installed to their respective offices.

The District congratulates all Brethren who received Active & Past Ranks on their preferment.
